Adding a Practice Location
This guide walks you through adding and managing practice locations in DrWell Connect. It covers both places where you can add locations: the Settings → Locations page and the onboarding setup wizard. Who can do this: A team member whose security role includes permission to add locations (for example, an Administrator).
Before You Start
Have the following information ready for each location:
- Location name — the full practice name shown to patients
- Street address, city, state, and ZIP
- Optional: phone number, email address
- Optional branding: your practice logo (SVG, PNG, or WebP — under 5MB), brand color, and preferred font
Tip: Your subscription plan includes a set number of location licenses. The Locations page shows your usage (for example, “2 of 3 licenses in use”). See Location License Limits below if you’re at the limit.
Step 1 — Open the Locations page
- Sign in to DrWell Connect.
- Go to Settings → Locations.
- Click Add Location (top right).
A slide-out panel opens with the new-location form.
Step 2 — Enter the location details

Start typing and pick from the address suggestions — city, state, and ZIP fill in automatically. You can also type everything manually. |

Bank Statement Descriptor |
What patients see on their card statement for charges from this location. The prefix is fixed; you set the suffix, which defaults to your Short Name. |
Step 3 — (Optional) Add your branding
If your plan includes co-branded patient pages, you’ll also see branding fields:
- Practice Logo — Upload an SVG, PNG, or WebP file (under 5MB). Enter the Location Name first. When the logo uploads, DrWell Connect automatically picks the dominant color from it and sets it as your Primary Color.
- Primary Color — A hex color (e.g., #7C3AED). Set automatically from your logo, or enter your own.
- Primary Font — Choose from a list of Google Fonts (e.g., DM Sans, Inter, Montserrat). The preview updates as you pick.
This branding appears on your patient-facing pages for this location.
Step 4 — Save
Click Add Location at the bottom of the panel. You’ll see a “Location created” confirmation, and the new location appears as a card in the Locations grid with a map preview of its address.
